About the Role
We’re looking for a reliable and hands-on Production Assistant to support our factory operations and help ensure parts are assembled, packed, and dispatched efficiently and on time. This is a fast-paced role suited to someone who thrives on keeping things moving and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily production tasks to meet outgoing part orders
- Pack and prepare parts for dispatch in accordance with quality standards
- Coordinate with other members of staff to meet deadlines
- Operate basic machinery to keep production efficient.
- Keep work areas clean, safe, and organised
- Perform basic quality checks before shipment
- Support the production team with general factory duties as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment (preferred but not essential)
- A proactive attitude and strong sense of urgency
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Must be comfortable and able to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy items
- Good communication and time management skills
- Driving license (a plus, not essential)
